Total number of calls for service – 3,947
Total number of miles traveled by police vehicles – 19,911

There were 55 motor vehicle accidents, 5 that resulted in personal injury, with a total of 8 persons injured.

There were 139 criminal charges served by police for the month, 104 motor vehicle charges and 2 driving while intoxicated, for a total of 245 charges served by police in December, 2009.

Three police officers were assaulted during the month of December, 2009. Two occurred while responding to disturbance calls and one occurred while responding to a suspicious person. These assaults resulted in no injuries to the officers (no lost time).

Total value of property reported stolen for the month ------ $ 65,648.
Total value of property recovered for the month ------------ $ 5,046.
